Many vpc tests fail because of incorrect apiClient passed in to create
the VPC, network etc. The exact method used is getUserApiClient to fetch
the apiclient for a specific user.

All tests that could possible disrupt the runs of other tests because of
putting resources into maintenace will be put under maint/. This should
allow us to run the tests sequentially when other tests are not running
on a deployment.

Concentration or Dispersion granularity is at the Cluster level and not
at the host level. So correcting the test to ensure
a. concentrated planner puts the VMs in same cluster
b. dispersed planner puts the Vms in diff't clusters

NetworkOfferings now require a mandatory scheme in the
serviceCapabilityList to create a VPC loadbalancer on the public side.
This commit fixes the test for VPC networks. Additionally there needs to
be a fix for making this the default behaviour so as not to hurt the
backwards compatibility.
test still fails because of CLOUDSTACK-2915 however which is a related
network ACL backwards compat issue. See bug for more details.

This feature allows a user to deploy VMs only in the resources dedicated to his account or domain.
1. Resources(Zones, Pods, Clusters or hosts) can be dedicated to an account or domain.
Implemented 12 new APIs to dedicate/list/release resources:
- dedicateZone, listDedicatedZones, releaseDedicatedZone for a Zone.
- dedicatePod, listDedicatedPods, releaseDedicatedPod for a Pod.
- dedicateCluster, listDedicatedClusters, releaseDedicatedCluster for a Cluster
- dedicateHost, listDedicatedHosts, releaseDedicatedHost for a Host.
2. Once a resource(eg. pod) is dedicated to an account, other resources(eg. clusters/hosts) inside that cannot be further dedicated.
3. Once a resource is dedicated to a domain, other resources inside that can be further dedicated to its sub-domain or account.
4. If any resource (eg.cluster) is dedicated to a account/domain, then resources(eg. Pod) above that cannot be dedicated to different accounts/domain (not belonging to the same domain)
5. To use Explicit dedication, user needs to create an Affinity Group of type 'ExplicitDedication'
6. A VM can be deployed with the above affinity group parameter as an input.
7. A new ExplicitDedicationProcessor has been added which will process the affinity group of type 'Explicit Dedication' for a deployment of a VM that demands dedicated resources.
This processor implements the AffinityGroupProcessor adapter. This processor will update the avoid list.
8. A VM requesting dedication will be deployed on dedicatd resources if available with the user account.
9. A VM requesting dedication can also be deployed on the dedicated resources available with the parent domains iff no dedicated resources are available with the current user's account or
domain.
10. A VM (without dedication) can be deployed on shared host but not on dedicated hosts.
11. To modify the dedication, the resource has to be released first.
12. Existing Private zone functionality has been redirected to Explicit dedication of zones.
13. Updated the db upgrade schema script. A new table "dedicated_resources" has been added.
14. Added the right permissions in commands.properties
15. Unit tests: For the new APIs and Service, added unit tests under : plugins/dedicated-resources/test/org/apache/cloudstack/dedicated/DedicatedApiUnitTest.java
16. Marvin Test: To dedicate host, create affinity group, deploy-vm, check if vm is deployed on the dedicated host.
The APIs addVolumeDetail and addNicDetail do not exist. These were part
of the old resource tagging design.

Introdcues notion of 'portable IP' pool at region level.
Introduces root admin only API's to provision portable ip to a region
- createPortableIpRange
- deletePortableIpRange
- listPortableIpRanges
1. Made a fix to make sure a null object is added to the exception.
2. Also fixed the marvin test cases for the feature. Account cleanup will remove the vms deployed for the account. There is no need to explicitly delete the vms for the account.
3. Fixed the assertion checks for the vm created for an account. If there are multiple vms for an account, the test script needs to compare the ids with the correct instance.
LDAP requires a Directory server which isn't available by default in
most environments. Moving this to the regression suite so it can be run
on demand.

1. A new implicit planner which extends the functionality provided by FirstFitPlanner.
2. Implicit planner can be used in either strict or preferred mode. In strict mode it tries to deploy a vm of a given account on a host on which vms of the account are already running. If no such host is found it'll search for an empty host to service the request. Otherwise the deploy vm request fails.
3. In preferred mode, if a host which is running vms of the account or an empty host isn't found, the planner then tries to deploy on any other host provided it isn't running implicitly dedicated strict vms of any other account.
4. Updated the createServiceOffering api to configure the details for the planner that the service offering is using.
5. Made db changes to store the service offering details for the planner.
6. Unit tests for testing the implicit planner functionality.
7. Marvin test for validating the functionality.
- Changes merged from planner_reserve branch
- Exposing deploymentplanner as an optional parameter while creating a service offering
- changes to DeploymentPlanningManagerImpl to make sure host reserve-release happens between conflicting planner usages.

region tests will be run in smoke and regression. In smoke we only test
the basic creation of a region. More extensive testing of duplicate
regions, test for updating region atteributes is in component.

Adding the zone, cluster, account level parameters
The parameters at scope (zone/cluster/pool/account) can be updated by updateConfiguration API with additional parameter zoneid/clusterid/accountid/storagepoolid
Whenever these scoped parameters are used in CS they get value from the corresponding details table if not defined get value from global parameter.
Same with the listConfiguration API with additional parameter zoneid/clusterid/accountid/storagepoolid

Previously the jsonHelper would incorrectly deserialize the json
response if the object returned had an attribute of the same name
resulting in an additional level of indirection to refer to the entity's
attributes. eg: account.account.name instead of account.name
This fixes the tests that have still the same indirection exposed.

Description:
Currently, userdata sent over to the DeployVMCmd and
updateVMCmd commands can be upto 2K in length, whether
sent over GET or POST. We remove this limitation for
POST to change this limit to 32K. Also enabling lazy
load on userdata to improve performance during reads
of large sized userdata from user VM records.

Introducing the simulator spring context -
simulatorComponentContext.xml.in. This separates the simulator beans so
that production deployments don't have the simulator in them. Context is
enabled with -Dsimulator as part of the developer profile.
Also adding config files - Simulator Config for advanced zone and basic
zone deployments under setup/dev.

No need to download the 50MB iso for every test. It is sufficient to use
a dummy iso. This dummy iso was generated using mkisofs for test
purposes.

simplifying the usage of the API. These define the verbs of each
entity's usage (create, delete, add etc). For the CLI to present the
simplified API we'll leverage the integration libraries.
+ Fixes to setup-test-data.sh - kvm and xen each use a different version
of the built-in Cent OS template, 5.5 and 5.3 namely.
At a later point the setup-test-data script needs to be obsoleted.
ostypeids in tests should directly be determined from listOsTypes API

verify system VMs running under the zone but would filter by podid which

Snapshots take many hours to run because the lowest snapshot period for
testing is an HOURLY snapshot. The component tests are the right place
to run any long running tests. This will also speed up the smoke tests
to under an hour.
There are various READMEs under Cloudstack. This makes it confusing for
finding the purpose of each directory and tool within the project. All
the necessary information can now be found in the top-level README.tools
that is markdown editable. For the most updated information however it
is best to provide a wiki link to the tool you have added. Each tool
lies in a seperate section, please keep formatting unchanged.
* expunge.interval determines the ExpungeTask interval to cleanup the
VM and post expunge.delay seconds we delete the VM entry. So let's just
wait long enough
* advanced - Advanced Zone only
* basic - basic zone without SecurityGroups
* sg - basic zone with security groups
* eip - basic zone with EIP/ELB
* advancedns - Advanced Zone with NetScalers
Because currently the lock in the script is retried every 1 second, and it's a
quite a long time that it's possible for some other active script can be
executed and retain the lock again. So it's possible that the first one request
the lock is always being preemptted by others, then finally got timeout.
To fix this issue, the retry interval is reduced to 0.1 seconds, which would
provide more retry times. And each process want to get the lock would create a
file named lockname-PID.lock, and only the first one(judged by timestamp) would
get the lock. The remaining ones would retry every 0.1 seconds to see if it can
get the lock.
Also timeout time is extended to 30 seconds.
And add testcase for it.
